A Career In Corrections

A career in corrections is a unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of law enforcement. HACTC is continually seeking individuals that have the drive and motivation to enter this challenging, yet very rewarding career. HACTC takes great pride in providing its team members with the skills, resources, and training necessary to be successful as a correctional officer.

It is not necessary that you have prior experience in law enforcement as we will ensure you receive the necessary training. Within your first year of hire you will be sent to correctional officer basic training which is held in Bismarck, ND.

HACTC provides you full duty-uniform and duty belt with all necessary tools. We are committed to providing you with up-to-date equipment so that you will feel confident in your ability to address any situation that may arise. You will also have the opportunity to receive training with non-lethal weapons, cell extraction techniques, and restraint equipment.
